The long distance cycle route from Kinsale to Glengariff covers some of the most spectacular coastal areas on the Wild Atlantic Way. You will have the chance to visit the 17th century Charles Fort and other historic gems along the way.
On this Wild Atlantic Way cycling trip you will also reach Mizen Head, Ireland’s southernmost point. You will then continue your cycle up the coast to take in the stunning Sheep’s Head peninsula before passing through the town of Bantry on your way to Glengarriff. Full cycle for experienced cyclists is 25 nights and for standard cyclists it can take up to 54 nights. The is the perfect way to get a taste of everything that the Wild Atlantic Way has to offer in terms of scenery, history, culture and music.
On the route you will be cycling from 40 - 65 kms per day on a mixture terrains.
