Old Head of Kinsale in Cork is a remarkably dramatic piece of Ireland, protruding more than two miles into the Atlantic Ocean. Play a round of golf, explore the lighthouse or join a boat trip and get out on the water.

Set off to the stunningly beautiful Old Head of Kinsale and play a round of golf on the world class 18-hole course. The course stretches for more than 7,000 yards, while nine holes play along the cliff tops and all 18 holes provide stunning ocean views. Practice your swing in the warm-up range and short-game area before your round.

See Old Head's maritime history at the lighthouse that was established here in the 17th century by Robert Reading. It is also the nearest land point to the site of the sinking RMS Lusitania in 1915. One of the best ways to see Kinsale is from the sea. Hop on board The Spirit of Kinsale, with former fisherman Jerome at the helm, taking you across the harbour, past the Charles Fort and right to the Atlantic's edge.
