The Ballymaloe Shop and Café

The Ballymaloe Shop & Cafe is situated on the Ballmaloe House Estate. A charmingly café to meet friends for coffee & cake or enjoy a delicious café-style lunch or perhaps browse through the shop as it offers a huge array of wonderful items.

The Ballymaloe Shop and Cáfe is located in a charming old farm building located next to Ballymaloe House, Shanagarry, County Cork.

The café is open from 10am to 5pm daily 7 days a week and lunch served from 12.30 to 4pm. Throughout the day they offer an impressive selection of cakes and biscuits etc. all made onsite (many gluten free and suiting various other dietary requirements). Lunch menus are seasonal and from the Ballymaloe farm as much as possible.

The shop stocks a delightful range of carefully selected Irish designer crafts, as well as cookery books, kitchen accessories, bakeware, kitchen and dining textiles, pottery, pots, saucepans, knives, food and has an array of presents and gifts ideas for babies, children, men and women. The shop is open from 10am-6pm every day.

The Ballymaloe Shop opened 45 years ago and the café opened over 20 years ago and is run by a member of the Allen family Dervilla O’Flynn. Dervilla trained and taught at the Ballymaloe Cookery School and users her favourite tried and tested recipes in her café. Dervilla and her team keep up to date with current food trends and use only the best seasonal produce when creating the weekly café menu.
