The Cape Clear International Storytelling Festival
2 September - 5 September 2022
Cape Clear International Storytelling Festival is held over 3 days on Cape Clear Island, off the west coast of Ireland, with the aim of keeping the Irish tradition of storytelling alive. It is world renowned for showcasing top class storytelling.

The festival will be a combination of live daytime events on Cape Clear Island, and online evening events on Zoom.

This year’s festival will see a stellar line up of storytelling greats with the following tellers performing on the island: Simone Schuemmelfeder, Kate Corkery, Paddy O’Brien, Con Ó Drisceoil, Masako Carey, Órla Mc Govern, Colin Urwin, Séamus Ó Drisceoil & Michael Phelan.

The online events will be performed by Donna Washington, Jan Blake, Len Cabral, Bill Harley, Ed Stivender, Joel ben Izzy, Colum Sands, Frances Kennedy and Jack Lynch.

Due to limited capacity storytelling fans are warned that tickets for the in person events MUST be purchased in advance and there will be no ticket sales available at the door!
