Join a guide led tour and become immersed in the rich history of University College Cork.
Tours include a visit to UCC’s Honan Chapel, the President’s Garden once hidden by high stone walls and the Crawford Observatory. The tours are approximately 75 minutes and given in the English language.
Visitors can also visit UCC’s Ogham Stone collection; ancient quarried slabs of stone illustrating an early coded form of the Irish language.
Experience 19th century Ireland ravaged by The Great Famine, with UCC’s ‘Án Bothán’ a replica of a famine cabin or ‘mud hut’, inhabited by Ireland’s poorest families.
Browse through UCC official branded merchandise at the UCC Visitors’ Centre store. The Visitors’ Centre offers a bespoke merchandise manufacturing service.
The centre is open Monday to Saturday 09:00 - 17:00 excluding public holidays. UCC Visitors’ Centre closes for all public holidays; for Easter weekend and from the 23rd December until 2nd January each year.
Tours take place Monday to Friday at 15:00, except for Bank Holidays and Saturday at 12 noon.
