Within a designated natural heritage area, exhibiting a highly diverse range of both coastal and terrestrial habitats, Narin is a Blue Flag beach along the Atlantic coast of Ireland. It is set in a cove and with the welcome protection of Dunmore Head, is relatively sheltered.
During the bathing season, which runs from June until the end of August, the beach is attended by a lifeguard. There are toilet facilities nearby and ample parking is also available. Local shops, bars and restaurants are within walking distance and there are three well maintained caravan sites nearby.
