The Rosses Anglers Association has fishing on over 130 lakes in West Donegal. These lakes hold salmon, sea trout and brown trout and all of them are within a five mile radius of Dungloe Town.

The town of Dungloe in County Donegal is the centre from which visitors can make their way to the way to fish the various fishing areas which include Dungloe Lake, Craghy Lake, Lough Meela and Ovenamarve, Loughanure Lake and many more.

The fishing season runs from 12th February until 12th October and each angler must have a Rosses Anglers Association Permit before fishing on the Association waters. The fishery is a fly only fishery and trolling, spinning or bait fishing is not permitted.

The Rosses Anglers Association hold several competitions each year including ladies and juniors tournaments as well as pairs competitions and charity fundraisers.
