Browne's is a bar and restaurant located on the main square of the town of Tuam, County Galway. Reopened in October 2016, this old bar has been brought back to life by husband and wife team Stevie and Amanda Lane.
The grocery bar, with its open fire, wine, cocktail, spirits, and craft beer selection is an excellent place to relax over a few drinks. To accompany drinks in the bar, there is a quirky list of bar snacks to nibble on, which includes homemade crisps, house-roasted nuts, and an Irish cheeseboard.
In the restaurant, chef patron Stevie Lane uses his fine dining background to present modern, elegant food in a relaxed, casual atmosphere. Lane works closely with local suppliers and producers to offer the best in local produce.
The team at Browne's is very proud to have been awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand 2019 award in recognition of their quality cooking at affordable prices.
