Established in June 2016, Enoteca Il Molo aims to provide simple but delicious Italian food and wine in the beautiful village of Kinvara. Situated in a 200-year old stone grain store along the seafront of the Wild Atlantic Way, Enoteca Il Molo has a unique atmosphere. Stylishly decorated yet simple in its tastes and service. They believe in high quality service and their customers experiencing all of what is unique about an Italian enoteca. They source only the best ingredients and lovingly prepare each dish in the authentic Italian style.
Run by Paolo Magnetti, whose family has long experience running restaurants and making their own pasta in Galway. Originally from Rome, Paolo’s family recipes for lasagne and cannelloni are well known in the Galway area. All of their ingredients are either sourced directly from Italy or from local suppliers. Their suppliers are listed on the menus and they are very proud of the quality of their products.
The Enoteca serves light Italian food – in typical wine bar style. The menu, although not extensive, is designed to go perfectly with their range of wines. They have a wide ranging Italian wine menu and they encourage all of their customers to sample different wines when they come to the Enoteca. The staff can advise you on different wines to try with different dishes. All of their wines are of the highest quality and are available by both the bottle and the glass.
