Established in 1845, the National University of Ireland Galway has a well-established tradition of hosting international conferences on its 260-acre parkland campus.
The amenities of the University have expanded over the years to include lecture theatres, seminar rooms, restaurants, accommodation for up to 800 delegates, lounge and bar as well as a state-of-the-art leisure/recreational centre with a 25-metre swimming pool.
The University recently opened a new multi-purpose venue, the Bailey Allen Hall, which has capacity for over 1000 delegates, can be subdivided into three sound-proof venues and is available all-year-round. This prestigious new venue can cater for events such as conferences, exhibitions, concerts and gala dinners. The supurb facilities and services combined with extensive recreational and accommodation amenities make the NUI Galway campus an excellent location for any event.
