Páraic is the quintessential “Man from the West” who has ploughed a unique furrow in the Cultural life of Galway and the west. Starting his career as a high energy street performances with Macnas and then on to the stage and screen Breathnach has been performing and telling stories all his life.

The new show “The Amadán in Me” sees him in the more sedate environment of the Comedy stage. The show unfolds in a style that is part Variety show/ Parish Fundraiser/ with the Compère Breathnach orchestrating the event that includes audience participation. a raffle, spot prizes, a quiz and a raft of often hilarious stories of Amadáns and their adventures.
