Brandon Creek is a village located on the Dingle peninsula in County Kerry. It has a small enclosed bay that is very tranquil and scenic.

It is believed that Saint Brendan the Navigator sailed from Brandon Creek, County Kerry on his voyage of discovery into the western ocean. Legend has it that Saint Brendan discovered the North America continent in the 6th century.

In 1976, the explorer Tim Severin also sailed from Brandon Creek in a vessel similar to the type used by Saint Brendan and reached Newfoundland in June 1977, proving that such a voyage in such a vessel was possible. The vessel used is on display at Craggaunowen, County Clare.
