Love books, love reading and love meeting authors? Dingle in November is the place to be. Over the weekend of November 20, 21 and 22 they celebrate books and authors through Irish and English. West Kerry and the Dingle Peninsula are synonymous with Irish literature, bestselling authors and culture.
The Dingle Literary Festival welcomes well known authors to West Kerry for a weekend of engaging conversations and discussions for both adults and children.
The Dingle Literary Festival aims to celebrate and enhance the cultural and economic life of the Dingle Peninsula, already widely known for its creativity. It strives to be inclusive and accessible festival for people of all ages focused on the literary arts – fiction, poetry and non-fiction in English and Irish – and delivered through readings, workshops and performance.
The festival includes panel discussions, author talks and book club discussions. We will hold workshops to develop writing skills for all levels.
