Killarney, Co. Kerry
Kerry Folk Tours is a day tour based on the book ‘Kerry Folk Tours’ by Gary Branigan and Luke Eastwood. The tour begins and ends in Killarney, encompassing sites mentioned in the stories contained in the book.

The Kerry Folk Tours will bring the participants to Ross Castle, Lough Leane, Scotia’s Monument, Scotia’s Grave, Dingle Marina, Rahinnane Castle, Dún An Óir. Participants meet the author and illustrator at Dingle Skellig Hotel for afternoon tea, a chat and book signing before returning to Killarney.

The tour is guided by one of two mythology, folklore and druidry experts who are there to answer any questions as well as show interesting features and tell the story of each location. Author Luke Eastwood and illustrator Elena Danaan are available to answer further questions about the locations and the book itself.

Kerry Folk Tours is an environmentally friendly tour, it provides glass bottled water, and all promotional materials are printed on recycled paper. For every participant a small donation is made to The Irish Woodland Trust to offset the environmental impact of the tour.
