Waterville Lakes & River System
The Waterville Lakes and River System is well developed with access to boats and guides readily available to the tourist angler. It is regarded by many as the foremost salmon and sea trout fishery in the country.

The Waterville Lakes and River System comprises Lough Currane, Lough Derriana, Lough Na Mona, Lough Cloonaghlin, Lough Na Huisce (Iskanamacteery), Capal Lake (Isknagahiny), River Cummeragh, The Butlers Pool and Inny River.

The rivers and lakes of Waterville drain a large catchment and are regarded by many as the foremost Salmon and Sea-Trout fishery in the country. The lake system is well developed with access to boats and guides being readily available to the tourist angler. The Sea-Trout caught here are renowned for their size and quantity.

The season for salmon runs from 17th January until 30th September and for sea trout the season runs from 17th January until 12th October.
