The Iverk Show began in 1826 and has grown into one of the leading Agricultural shows in Ireland. There are classes for cattle, horses, show jumping, sheep, poultry, dogs, arts, crafts, flowers, vegetables, fruit, honey, eggs, baking and vintage machines with special classes for children and young people.

As well as outdoor trade stands, there are marquees for small business and food companies with cooking demonstrations. There is a fashion show with best dressed lady and bonny baby competitions. There is a garden area and children's play area, and a seated plaza with musical entertainment for relaxation and meeting old friends.
