The National Steam Rally, Stradbally celebrates Ireland's steam engine heritage. This year's rally is particularly noteworthy because it is powered by carbon tax-free bio mass fuel, showcasing the commitment to sustainable energy practices & reducing carbon emissions, demonstrating that it is possible to enjoy our rich heritage while also protecting the planet for future generations.

The event is all about providing a fun filled, family friendly event with so much on offer from amusements, live music, dancing, craft stalls, trade stalls, fine foods, pet farm and lots of children's activities, to steam engines, vintage machinery, classic cars, Stradbally Woodland Railway, and an array of steam & vintage displays and demonstrations.
