Starting June 30th, Bressie and friends will be kayaking the entire length of the River Shannon from source to sea – a whopping 330 km journey on the water with the aim of raising funds for the charity's primary school mental health education programme. Dubbed "The Rising", the challenge will end at the mouth of the Shannon in Limerick on 06 July, where there will be a rockin' party to celebrate Breslin's incredible feat.

“The Rising” is a concept Breslin developed together with fellow Mullingar local Ray Carolan, of Lakeland Kayaks.

The crew will be passing through many towns and villages but the main stop off points are Dowra, Carrick on Shannon, Lanesborough, Athlone, Banagher, Kilgarvin, Killaoe and Limerick City.
