Working with pure colour and an emphasis on combining fast but accurate drawing, Cormac will demonstrate the benefits of working with hard and soft pastel. Giving one-to-one guidance if necessary, you will experience first-hand the rhythmic free flowing movements that he utilises for mark making. Believing that pastel is an ideal medium for the plein air artist, he will also share a wide range of materials and good practice for working outdoors.

You will need to bring your own painting materials of choice and a packed lunch. Light refreshments will be provided by Solstice Café.
