The Tasty Tart is a home based, although purpose built, cookery school. Classes are informative, with a focus on using interesting ingredients to produce delicious dishes. Due to the school's proximity to the sea, fish is often a focus. Some classes include an early morning trip to the pier in Clogher Head to see what the boats have brought in, followed by a day of using the haul to create beautiful dishes.

Classes held are both demonstration and hands on and range from firm family favourites to more specialised subjects such as the foods of north Africa and the Middle East.Coming to a class is a great opportunity for tourists to come to a family home and experience top Irish cuisine first hand.

The kitchen has been fitted with work stations for up to 12 people, with each having access to fridge, oven and hob. There is a dining area located next to the kitchen in a bright and airy sunroom. Plenty of parking is available.
