Also known as Pollawaddy or Silver Strand, Dugort Beach is located at the foot of the Slievemore Mountains and is approximately 3km east of Dugort Village. The machair which is also present here is of particular interest and is rich in flora and fauna and the beach is within a Special Area of Conservation (SAC).
There is a car park and picnic tables, however no toilet facilities are provided.
The beach is lifeguarded during the bathing season and more information can be found on the notice board located at the beach.
