Mayo people abroad are being asked to come ‘Home To Mayo’ for the month of May. Under this initiative, people are encouraged to return to enjoy the Mayo Day celebrations which will launch the full month of Home to Mayo.
A wide range of festivals and events will celebrate all that is great about county Mayo, including culture, history, natural heritage and especially the people.
There will be something for everyone who comes home to Mayo, whether they are interested in tracing their family roots or want to explore the wild and beautiful coastline and countryside.
