'Later' @ Ballinglen

Ballinglen Museum of Art announces a unique series of night-time events entitled ‘Later’. Stretching from September to December, the programme includes some of Irelands’ greatest musicians, actors, storytellers & some surprises.

Generations young and old will love legendary story-teller Eddie Lenihan as he talks fairies and ghosts. Cormac Begley is redefining the sound of the concertina - he makes his way to Ballinglen from Co Kerry.

The kora, known as the African harp, makes a blissful sound and one of its greatest exponents from Senegal, Seckou Keita, pays us a visit in November.

Lovers of acting and theatre will love Mikel Murfi. Noni Stapleton, takes a break from Fair City, to perform her fantastic award-winning one-woman show about a Charolais cow.

Later @ Ballinglen is funded by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, in support of the Night-Time Economy After Hours at the Museum scheme.
