Manish Pingle is a virtuoso Indian slide guitarist from Mumbai and a disciple of Ustad Shahid Paravez, the famous sitar maestro of Itawa gharana.

Manish has introduced a slight variant to his right hand picking technique to his contemporaries like Debashish Bhattacharya by using index finger and thumb on the main melody strings allowing for a tremendous advantage for speed.

For his Irish debut, he will be playing a selection of traditional Indian ragas as well as some folk tunes accompanied by tabla player Rupak Kumar Pandit.
