O'Reilly & Turpin is situated near the distinctive monument known as 'The Clock' in the heart of the award-winning, picturesque town of Westport, County Mayo.
Antoinette Turpin and Corry O'Reilly, the co-owners, have established an excellent reputation for supporting Irish craft and design. The shop was selected by the Craft Council of Ireland as one of the showcase shops for Irish Craft and Design.
The ranges of jewellery vary from costume jewellery made from both glass beads and exotic stones to sterling silver, silver/gold and gold plate, in both modern and classic designs.
The beautiful coloured glass is supplied by Kerry Crafted Glass.
The ceramics are from various exciting Irish artists – Sinead Lough, Michael Kennedy, Louise Brown, Rachel Quinn, Sheila Flannery of Shelly Pots; and the work of a young ceramist, Karen Morgan.
Bunberry Boards of Lisnavagh and Mark Heaney of Sligo provide some of the wonderful examples of woodturning available in the store.
The metal work on display is by the renowned artist, Paddy McCormack from Cork. He creates a contemporary aesthetic using iron, copper and bronze.
Also available in the shop are various limited editions of prints by Simone Walsh, Mary Pickering and Vera Gaffney as well as multimedia images by Lynn Kenny and Galerie Lisette.
