Ross Beach is a sandy beach in a rural environment and is located 5km north of Killala Town.
It is located along the shoreline of Killala Bay, which is an extensive triangular estuary with mudflats lining the sides of the channel. The bay offers rich feeding for wildfowl and waders. The ground flora here has an unusual degree of diversity.
The beach is lifeguarded during the summer months and more information can be found at the notice board located at the beach.
