From 22 - 25 June the heritage town of Kells will play host to some of the best writers, thinkers, artists - with over 50 events for all the family including interviews, street art, live music, children's workshops and Ireland’s only Litcrawl.
Hinterland Festival of Literature & Arts is an annual book and arts festival in Kells, Co. Meath which runs on the last weekend of June in beautiful historic venues such as St. Columba's Church & Kells Courthouse.
This year's programme features authors Joseph O'Connor, John Boyne, Liz Nugent, Pulitzer Prize winner Richard Ford, columnist Fintan O'Toole, composer Bill Whelan, Iraqi Irish hurler Zak Moradi, Santis O'Garro, journalist Tommie O'Gorman, broadcasters Eileen Dunne & John Creedon and much more. This year's history strand, Hindsight, focuses on the Decade of Centenaries.
There'll be live music from internationally renowned Irish folk singer Lisa Lambe, Ireland's only Litcrawl and a whole host of workshops for children.
