29 January - 25 March 2022
Solstice in association with The Estonian Association of Architecture (EAA), Estonian Centre for Architecture(ECA) and Irish Architecture Foundation (IAF), present a major exhibition focusing on the characteristics of wood.

Mu maja pole puudest, mis kasvavad kodu taga metsas.

The exhibition explores the act of transformation across the life cycle of the material from extraction to transportation, standardisation to encapsulation and eventual disassembly for potential reuse. Curated by Estonian and Irish team of architects Aet Ader, Helmi Marie Langsepp and Mari Möldre (b210, Tallinn) and St John Walsh (Alder Architecture, Dublin), five Irish and five Estonian architecture practices were invited to exchange ideas in response to the theme, resulting in thought provoking works in Solstice galleries.

Sat 29 Jan - Fri 25 March, Tue - Sat, 11:00 - 16:00. Free entry.
