Cloughjordan is located beside Ireland’s first Eco-village and gardens, where students can learn how to grow their own vegetables and gain an understanding of a working farm, as well as learning new skills and discovering new flavours.
Gluten free and vegetarian cooking are just a few of the courses and demonstrations they offer. They provide an excellent course for student, committed to getting Irish students cooking. It gives them the opportunity to widen their cooking knowledge and learn some great recipes to help them in the future. They will also learn about the food cycle, the eco system and the importance of seasonal, locally produced food.
