The interpretative side of the medieval craft and archery will include some stories and lore of the medieval lifestyle especially from the point of view of an archer. There will be bone head, stone head, and flint (Rathlin Island) head arrows on display as well as up to a dozen various viking/medieval hunting and warheads. The piẻce-de-resistance is the long-bow and arrow-making table and the opportunity to pull a real war-bow. There will also be an opportunity to try-out a hunting horn, try on chain-mail, an archer's helm, and cowls are provided for some great selfies.
Some of the many different kinds of arrows and the bows along with other artefacts will help with the storytelling. Various bows will be in use for all, above 5 years.
