Market House Craftworks
Cappoquin, Co. Waterford
Market House Craftworks is made up of a trio of skilled craftspeople working together in the Market House on the Square, Cappoquin, County Waterford. It is a distinctive contemporary craft studio, shop and art gallery housed in one of the oldest commercial buildings in the country.

Visitors to Market House Craftworks, in the heart of Cappoquin, Co Waterford, can watch leather, mosaic, felt and ceramics being created by Len Canton, Joan Casey and Jane Jermyn. The retail space features their beautifully crafted pieces, along with a selection of handmade cards by local artists.

Everything in the shop is locally made, created using traditional techniques and knowledge, with many exclusive items that are unavailable elsewhere. It is possible to purchase pieces from their website if you are not in the area.

Upstairs houses the outstanding Courtroom Gallery where the exhibition programme changes each month. The Market House dates from the mid 1700s and is one of the oldest commercial sites in Ireland. The village of Cappoquin is in a peaceful area with options for dining, fishing and touring historic buildings. It's also an excellent walking area with Glenshelane Woods and river walks on the edge of the village.
