Notice: Mount Congreve Gardens are temporarily closed for redevelopment, and expect to welcome back visitors later in 2022. Head to Mount Congreve Estate in County Waterford and explore its glorious gardens. Wander around the walled garden and marvel at the three thousand strong collection of trees and shrubs in the woodland garden.

Mount Congreve Estate was built in the 1760s by local architect John Roberts and is described as one of the 'the great gardens of the world'. The owner, the late Ambrose Congreve, was inspired by Mr Lionel de Rothschild’s exceptional garden at Exbury in Hampshire, England.

Ambrose Congreve's passion for his spectacular garden is still evident today, view the extensive collection of plants, shrubs and flowers including rhododendrons, magnolias, camellias and flora from every continent in the world.

Take incredible pictures at the colourful Chinese Pagoda, stop off at the Classical Temple, check out the rock waterfall and see the stunning Georgian glasshouse. Book a yoga class in this incredible setting or catch a meteor shower star gazing session, a true bucket list experience.
