The Esquire was opened in 1932 by local business man Jim Quinn as a Gentleman's Bar. Taken over by Chef Paul Horan in 1980 and soon after opened one of Waterford first good food restaurants. The Esquire is open everyday throughout the year inclusive of Christmas Day.
All food is served fresh and vegetables have no seasoning. Fries are cooked in sunflower oil. And a great deal of the menu is Nutron- friendly. Fish dishes are inclusive of all the favourite fish and shellfish to be found in the sea and rivers. All meat dishes are sourced from leading suppliers of the highest quality. To accompany your meal there is a fantastic wine list of different vintages from all over the world.
