On Saturday 24th September Bray plays host to the start and finish of the Eco Trail Wicklow Running Festival.

This international event offers 4 challenging and scenic courses (19, 30, 46 or 80km) starting between 07:30 and 12:00.

All routes commence with an ascent up Bray Head for super views out to the Irish Sea towards Wales.

The 19km routes then pass through Kilruddery and past Little Sugarloaf mountain and into Belmont estate before returning back to Bray.

The 30km route takes in the additional challenge of a circuit of the Great Sugarloaf mountain.

The 46km route takes in Powerscourt Waterfall and the Wicklow Way whilst the 80km goes the whole way to Roundwood and Vartry Reservoir using many of Wicklow best loved trails.
