Nestled in the snug, sunny hills looking overlooking the Bannow Bay Estuary in Wexford, lies the Ceadogán studio. The workshops and showroom lie amongst Norman ruins, and 18th century farm buildings, in Wellington Bridge, the gateway to the Hook Peninsula. The studio is a treasure in itself, often attracting visitors from around the world.
As a small enterprise, Ceadogán Rugs is focused, highly skilled, very experienced and dedicated to pairing the traditional values of remarkable craftsmanship and contemporary design. In collaborating with a variety of designers, Ceadogán strive for innovation and and originality. It is meticulous care and attention to detail which truly distinguish a Ceadogán rug. The client can buy a handmade rug from the impressive collection in the showroom, or can commission their own pieces, being involved every step of the way; selecting yarns from the extensive stockroom, collaborating with the designers, and seeing their concept follow through to the making and the final touches.
Visitors are warmly welcome to visit the studios and showroom. A Ceadogán rug is personal and truly unique.
