The grey seal is the most common seal in the Wexford area. They breed on the Saltee Islands and pups are born in late summer or autumn. They are frequently seen lying out on sand banks at Raven Point. The maximum number of people permitted on one trip is 12.

Birds which may be seen include the Red Throated Diver, Bewick's Swan, Golden Plover and Whitefronted Goose.
