They also have an area dedicated to those visitors who wish to experience the craft for themselves. In this room a professional potter can be seen going through the daily routine of throwing pots. This person will deal with all the questions that may arise pertaining to the process and even allow visitors try their skill at making a shape. Louis Mulcahy's website, listed here, has further information on their guided workshop tours.

At their café they aim to serve the best of locally produced food. Their menu includes Dingle organic smoked salmon, Dingle peninsula cheese platters, smoked mackerel pate with local brown bread or their own seaweed bread, homemade soup, paninis and a selection of cakes and scones baked there in the café – all served on their handmade pottery.
