Michael Vignoles is a bodhrán and uilleann pipe maker, a musician and craftsman from The Claddagh in Galway City. He has been making Irish musical instruments for over 30 years. His bodhran's have been played by some of the finest names in music.

The non tuning bodhrán range from Michael Vignoles in Galway City comes in a walnut finished shell covered with genuine goat skin, studded with a Celtic leather strap, single solid cross bar and a complimentary learn to play the Irish bodhrán with Michael Vignoles DVD. The tuneable bodhrán has a range of sizes in 14, 16 and 18 inch and comes in a natural black and walnut finish with key adjusting tuners.

The uilleann pipes, one of the treasures of Irish traditional music, is a wind instrument inflated by means of a bellows operated by the elbow which is also crafted by Michael Vignoles. He also produces a walking stick that contains one of Ireland’s oldest musical instruments, the tin whistle, inside the stick.

Michael Vignoles shop is situated in The Claddagh in Galway City where you can browse an extensive range of tin whistles, flutes and DVD tutorials. The Irish word 'An Cladach' means stoney shore and this is how the area known as 'The Claddagh' got its name.
