Anchor Caravan Park nestles in a semi-circle of the spectacular Slieve Mish mountains in Castlegregory, which is approximately 20km from Tralee, County Kerry. The family run park was established in 1971 and has been improved each year to provide everything today’s campers and caravanners could want for holidays.
At the Anchor, there is a central amenity block with toilets, showers, a TV room, games room, laundry facilities and space for rinsing wet suits. There is also a camper’s kitchen area and a reception office that provides information about local attractions and places of interest. For the youngest guests, there is a play area with safe pieces of equipment and a sandpit. WiFi is also available for visitors who wish to stay connected during their stay.
While staying at Anchor Caravan Park, holidaymakers can enjoy spending time on the beach that adjoins the park. It stretches out for about 20km along the north coast of the Dingle Peninsula. Still, that’s not all that’s offered in the area. Places like Dingle, Inch Strand, Killarney and the Ring of Kerry are within reach, and many activities can be enjoyed such as fishing, diving, golf, walking and cycling.
