Arasain Bhalor apartments, Falcarragh are situated in Ireland’s largest Gaeltacht, Irish speaking area, in County Donegal. The name Arasain Bhalor which in English translates to Balor Apartments derives from an ancient myth, the creature Balor of the evil eye which was associated with the area.

Arasain Bhalor is a small three apartment complex located just off the Main Street in Falcarragh. The ground floor and first floor are two bedroom apartments while the second floor apartment has one double bedroom. Each unit is furnished and equipped to a very high standard making it a home from home. There is a spacious living area with TV and DVD player, each apartment has its own washing and drying facilities. Free WiFi throughout. Car parking at rear of apartments. The hosts pride themselves in providing a warm welcome to all their guests. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance.

Falcarragh is a small village in North West Donegal with a population of approximately 500 people. It is nestled between the Derryveagh Mountains and the Atlantic Ocean. There are two beautiful sandy beaches in Falcarragh, as well as golfing and angling nearby. Falcarragh is a short drive from Glenveagh National Park, Ards Forest Park and Dunlewey Lakeside Centre. There is also lots of traditional music played in the local pubs. This is a great base for hillwalking , and the owner has a thorough knowledge of the local mountains. Magheroarty Pier, where the ferry for Tory and Inisboffin leaves from, is only a 15 minute drive from the property.
