Venture further afield from your attractive cottage and visit Lough Derg, the second largest lake in Ireland, where you can book cruises around the Clare coast, take a trip to Limerick city to savour the history and the culture, or enjoy the watersports which are available.
If you enjoy traditional music then why not drive to the local towns of Ennis and Gort where music is regularly played in the friendly pubs and bars. Other places of interest in County Clare include scenic Killaloe and the famous Cullaun Lake, and with the Loop Head Peninsula and Aran Islands within easy touring distance.
