Adrinane House, located beside the Annascaul River, is just across the road from the South Pole Inn, the ancestral home of Antarctic explorer Tom Crean.
Annascaul is renowned for its many looped walks through leafy country lanes and green scenery. The village is a convenient stop off for walkers enjoying the seven day Dingle Way walking experience.
A walk or drive to Annascaul Lake is a must, in order to enjoy its rugged beauty and serenity. For the more adventurous, surrounding the lake there are mountains to climb. Inch is just 6km away and this blue flag beach has miles of sandy coastline for swimming, surfing and fishing. Surfing lessons are available for all ages on the beach from April to October.
