The residence is a working, Georgian style farm in picturesque surroundings making it the perfect country retreat. Guests can avail of their own tea and coffee making facilities as well as parking on the grounds. Home cooking is a specialty of the hosts.

One of Ireland’s longest beaches, Brittas Bay, is just three kilometres from the house. For golf enthusiasts, the European Golf Club is a short four kilometres away.The must-see Glendalough is a mere 34 minutes away by car as it the stunning coutry pile of Powerscourt House and gardens. The residence is an ideal touring base for those visiting Avoca (Ballykissangel).This B&B is also conveniently located close to Dublin City, home to Christchurch and Patrick’s Cathedrals as well as George’s Street market and the beautiful and serene Iveagh Gardens. Dun Laoghaire port is also accessible. Those traveling by ferry will find Ballinclea a convenient spot, too, as Rosslare Europort is just 40 minutes drive from the home.
