Established in 1837, the Blarney Castle Hotel is a family-run accommodation situated just 10 minutes from Cork City. The hotel offers old-world charm while offering guests all the comforts of a modern hotel.

The three-star Blarney Castle Hotel is a family-run business that dates back to 1837. It is located in the picturesque village of Blarney, just a short stroll from the famous Blarney Castle and 10 minute’s drive from Cork City. The hotel takes pride in offering a traditional Irish welcome with open fires and friendly local staff. All 13 comfortable bedrooms are spacious and tastefully appointed with power shower, widescreen TV, direct dial telephone, WiFi throughout the hotel, tea/coffee-making facilities and complimentary mineral waters. Blarney Castle Hotel also has a secure private car park for guests.

Blarney Castle Hotel is home to the Lemon Tree Restaurant, which is open for breakfast from 07:30 until 11:30 daily. Lunch is served in the Lemon Tree Restaurant, the Bar and the Killowen Room. An excellent selection of food is on offer where menus have been carefully planned keeping in mind what is seasonally available. It also boasts Johnny’s bar, a popular spot for locals and visitors alike thanks to its excellent bar food and range of beverages. Traditional Irish Music is on offer every Tuesday in the bar with extra music sessions on a Monday and Wednesday during the summer period. There may also be music at occasional weekends.

For guests planning a special event, Blarney Castle Hotel offers two venues. The Clogheen Room, decorated with antique furniture, is ideal for private dining, meetings and discussion groups up to a maximum of 15 people. The Killowen Room is the main function room and can cater for up to 120 guests with full bar, dance floor, and bathrooms.

Blarney Village is surrounded by many popular attractions, such as the Cobh Heritage Centre, Old Jameson Distillery, and Fota Wildlife Park. The immediate area also offers a number of activities, such as fishing, horse riding and excellent golf courses.
