Blindgate House is a purpose built luxury accommodation with walking distance of Kinsale Town, County Cork. The guesthouse, taking its name from an entrance to the historic walled Kinsale, is a modern design offering bright and airy accommodation.

Blindgate House in Kinsale, County Cork, is a purpose-built guesthouse set in its own developing garden high up over town. The guesthouse has spacious rooms and a modern, bright and airy atmosphere.

The contemporary design is merged with tasteful antiques to provide a refreshing contrast to more traditional Kinsale accommodation. All bedrooms are airy and bright and have modem sockets and Wi-Fi, telephones, satellite TV, tea- and coffee-making facilities, ironing board, hairdryer and trouser press. There is plenty of off-street parking for customers to avail of during their stay. The breakfast is an important aspect of the Blindgate experience ranging from fresh fruit to the famous full Irish breakfast. The menu boasts an extensive choice that will appeal to all.

Blindgate House Kinsale is the perfect get away for couples, young or old, as a base for your golfing holiday or a place to relax and unwind after your business trip to Kinsale.

Rooms are equipped to meet the needs of those travelling on business wanting to keep in touch with the world, and are steeped in luxury for those looking to escape from the world. There are 11 rooms in total, all beautifully decorated by renowned designer Beatrice Blake. All rooms have been fitted with carbon monoxide monitors.

Kinsale is blessed with three fabulous golf courses within six miles of the Blindgate House. The Blindgate House is a perfect venue for your golfing trip, once you’re finished on the course, return to the Blindgate House and relax.

Kinsale is steeped in history, dating back to the Battle of Kinsale in 1601 and beyond. There are many remnants of medieval settlements in Kinsale and pre and post 1601 remains are dotted all over the town. Join in with one of the many walking tours or the more entertaining but equally factual Ghost Tour. Take in Kinsale's newest attraction The Kinsale Road Train and get a history of Kinsale by train or jump on the Sprit of Kinsale, with skipper Jerome, and get a tour of Kinsale by water on the Kinsale Harbour Cruise.

Kinsale Equestrian Centre consists of a riding school and livery yard. The riding school caters for all levels from beginner to novice to intermediate through to advanced level and for both children and adults. Private and group lessons are offered. Located only 5 minutes from Blindgate House.

Ireland's number one paintball experience is located three miles from Blindgate House. Action Pak Paint ball is set on a 20 acre site packed with ding trenches, woodlands, swam and villages. It’s perfect for groups looking for some excitement while in Kinsale.
