Perched on the leafy banks of Galway’s Owenriff River, which flows through Oughterard and into Lough Corrib, Camillaun Lodge is a great place for anglers and for those looking for a relaxing break.
Camillaun Angling Centre has everything a keen angler needs, including top quality boats, engines and equipment for hire, plus a fine selection of flies and fishing tackle for sale. Life jackets are mandatory, and a personal fishing guide is also available for those wanting local tips (€150/day; advance booking required).
A full-size floodlit tennis court, snooker table and hot tub are also available to guests, so you can relax after a day by the riverbank.
Camillaun Lodge enjoys a spectacular location on a quiet backwater off the Owenriff River and is just a picturesque ten-minute boat ride to Lough Corrib. The nearby village of Oughterard is filled with restaurants, cafés and pubs, and is within easy walking distance from the Lodge.
