Carrickfinn Cottage is a three bedroom retreat with an open plan living area. The three bedrooms are all en suite, with one bedroom situated on the ground floor, along with the added attraction of a sauna. It has a well equipped kitchen, making it a refuge of calm in an environment immersed in nature.
Free WiFi is available and turf is provided for the fire. The oil fired central heating is metered. The meter is read on arrival and departure and guests are charged for usage.
The property is located on the Wild Atlantic Way, with spectacular scenery of mountains, lakes and golden sandy beaches. Part of the Carrickfinn Peninsula is an area of special conservation. It is home to the fox, badger, pheasant and, in summer, the corncrake can be heard singing. The array of wildflowers makes the area a paradise for photographers and artists. The peace and quiet attracts all age groups.
