Carrig Country House & Restaurant is a four-star restored Victorian Manor on the shores of Caragh Lake on the Ring of Kerry. It has spectacular views across the water to the wildness of the Kerry Mountains.

This charming and meticulously-restored Victorian residence has a sense of timelessness about it that has captured the imagination of poets and adventurers alike. It is an ideal hideaway offering peace and tranquillity standing on the shores of the beautiful Caragh Lake in County Kerry.

Guests will find the air clear and pleasant, and may enjoy beautiful gardens and natural green woodlands, with spectacular views across the still waters to the wildness of the Kerry Mountains. Carrig Country House is centrally located for touring the Ring of Kerry, Killarney National Park. and Dingle Peninsula, as well as the world heritage site of Skellig Michael (recently used as a location for scenes in a Star Wars film). Carrig is an ideal base for hill walking, mountain climbing, horse riding, fishing, windsurfing, and sailing. There are 15 golf courses in the area, the nearest being a 10-minute drive away.

At the heart of the Carrig Country House experience is genuine old fashioned Irish hospitality provided by Frank, Mary and their professional team. The beautifully-appointed bedrooms, drawing rooms, and the Lakeside Restaurant overlook Caragh Lake with a view of the majestic Kerry mountains. All bedrooms are ensuite and most have either King Size beds or Twin beds (2 single beds). Some rooms are available with three single beds.
