Church View Manor is a beautiful 90 year old house, formerly a priest’s residence, now lovingly transformed to provide a unique self-catering house. This spacious house comprises five bedrooms and sleeps nine. There is a large sitting room with ample seating, television, sky and internet provided.

Set in the heart of County Monaghan, just 66 miles from Dublin and 60 miles from Belfast, this house is in a beautiful rural setting at Lough Egish near Castleblayney. As guests enter the driveway of Church View Manor, there is a tree-lined gravel pathway complete with an elegant water feature leading to this home.

There is a grand hallway with many of the original period features have been retained such as floor tiling and original fireplaces. The property is oil fired throughout.

In the sitting room guests can relax with family in the soft seating. The elegant dining room provides a stately area to dine with friends and family. The downstairs shower room was once the Cook’s kitchen and living quarters with the original stove kept as a decorative rustic feature.

The upstairs bedrooms are spacious and all in keeping with the vintage style of the property. The only single room was used in former times as a Prayer room. In the bathroom, guest can marvel at the property’s original cast iron roll-top bath set before the window, providing a peaceful spot to soak in with a walk-in shower in this room too.
