Copper Coast B&B is on the coast and offers four bedrooms, two double, one double/single and a family room which sleeps four with one double and two single beds. All bedrooms are en suite and the family room is wheelchair friendly with large wet room style bathroom. All rooms have TV, WiFi and tea/coffee making facilities. Guests can relax in the sitting room with its sea view.
Bunmahon has a lovely beach, enjoy a walk on the boardwalk on the sand dunes. Take a walk to Tra na mBó, there is handrail access down to this secluded beach. Drinks and refreshments are available in the local pub/café. Visit the Copper Coast Visitor Centre in the restored Knockmahon Church and learn about the mining history, geology and heritage of the area, relax with a tea or coffee or browse in the craft shop.
An ideal location for a fun filled family holiday or a quiet getaway. Lots of lovely beaches to be enjoyed all along the coast and The Comeragh Mountains with the Mahon Falls is just a twenty minute drive away. Surfing, golf, horse riding, fishing, mini farms, are all available within 15km.
Waterford city is 21km from the B&B. Visit the House of Waterford Crystal or The Viking Triangle with its many Museums and learn something of the rich history of the City.
Copper Coast B&B is midway between Dungarvan and Tramore, 19.6km. distance from either town. Dungarvan is a great location for dining and shopping and is one of the entry/exit points of The Waterford Greenway. Tramore is a seaside town known for its 5km beach with lots of amenities to be enjoyed.
Kilmacthomas is the centre of Waterford Greenway, known as the “Heart of the Greenway” and is 10km from Copper Coast B&B. The Greenway is a great amenity for all the family to enjoy walking or cycling along the old railway line between Dungarvan and Waterford City. Bike hire is available from numerous depots along The Greenway.
